The rich were putting in large amounts with loud clanging sounds, and among them, a poor widow quietly put in two very small copper coins (about 140 yen, 1,260 won). No one noticed, but Jesus heard that small sound.

Jesus said, "This poor widow has put in more than all the others." We should check whether we ignored people in need around us, or used the time, resources, and talents God gave us only for ourselves. By reverse calculation, we have kept much for ourselves. Now we must ask God: "Who are the widows around me? How can I lift them up?" We must use what God has given us to save souls. This is the true image of a steward.
